Calm Irritated facial Skin
Steep four bags of green tea in one cup boiling water, let cool and then dab on your face, green tea is a natural astringent that combats redness and it also has anti inflammatory compounds
Facial Scrubs
Oily:
Baking soda 1 ½ cup
Honey ¾ cup
Orange oil 5 drops
Lemon 3 Tbs
Sensitive:
Epsom Salts 1 ½ cup
Olive Oil ¾
Geranium Oil 5 drops
Grapefruit 3 Tbs
Dry:
Coffee Grounds 1 ½ cup
Coconut Oil ¾
Sandal Wood 5 drops
Papaya 3 Tbs
Combo:
Sea Salt 1 ½ cup
Avocado Oil 1 ½ cup
Eucalyptus Oil 5 drops
Kiwi Fruit 3 Tbs
All facial scrubs can be save in the fridge for up to 14 days
Summer Smoothies
(If you love one fruit/veg vs another, add more of it, all measurements are guidelines only. Just remember fruits are higher in sugar)
Honey Dew-Lime- Cilantro– Helps to lower cholesterol
¾ Honey Dew
¼ Lime
½ Cucumber
1Tbs fresh Cilantro
Melon-Berry-Green Tea– Turns off fat storage
¾ Watermelon (red and white part)
¼ Strawberries
¼ Lime
1 Cup steeped Green tea
Pinch of Salt
Pineapple-Cantaloupe-Mint– Reduce Inflammation and protects your skin from sun damage

1 hand full of fresh Mint leaves
Avoid Sun Burn
Snack on Pomegranate Seeds; they are rich in ellagic acid (a natural sunscreen) which can speed the repair of sun burned skin, just about ¼ cup a day
Body Ordour
Having a bath in baking soda kills off acid-loving bacteria that feed on perspiration and produce yucky smells. Or baking soda deodorant, mix baking soda and coconut oil to form a paste, add an essential oil (of your choice), and use daily.
Mosquito Free
Clove essential oil is proven to repel these monsters for up to 4 hours, matching and even out lasting DEET. If you have sensitive skin just dab on your socks or shirts instead of directly on the skin. Also, plant some clove around your outdoor living space.
